Moodboard Changes

I just showed you my mood board for the guest bedroom but being the frugal person that I am, I have already made tweeks to this plan. Remember I bought new curtains for the kitchen from World Market. Well that means that I will have to take down my tablecloth drapes, that got me to thinking that it would be a perfect budget solution to move the tablecloth drapes to the bedroom, thus saving at least $100 for new curtains. Not to mention my mom made them for me, which makes them even more special.

 Last week my mom had surgery to remove a tumor from her brain, praise God the tumor was benign. Prior to the surgery she was told that she would only have a 2 week recovery and be back to normal. Evidently the surgery she had is not very invasive and since the tumor was small, it wasn't suppose to be a big deal.  Yeah you read correctly, wasn't.  Long story short my mom is currently in a rehab facility learning how to use her hands again, the very ones she used to make my tablecloth drapes. She has a much longer recovery period ahead, but I am thankful that she is still alive and praise God that she has all of her memory and intellect. I will always remember my mom working on these curtains, and hope and pray that she will one day be able to sew again. 

So here is my new mood board incorporating the different drapes.   I actually like this one better. What do you think?
