Guest Bedroom Moodboard

I was tempted to start on my Mini Kitchen Makeover because its going to be pretty simple and I already have the curtains, but my Guest Bedroom really needs some major attention.
I found a site Olioboard that allows you to create moodboards for your home. Since this room has nothing in it that I plan to keep creating a moodboard was just the inspiration I needed, now I just need some Moolah and we will be set.

I found the site pretty easy to use, but wasn't able to add a paint color to the wall because that is an Upgrade feature... I'm thinking I want to use a teal color in this space.
Here is my first moodboard. What do you think?

See what I mean, totally blank space, well minus all the mess...in my defense these pictures were taken after I started cleaning out the closet and sorting stuff..

I know, I know, I know, its terrible.......but I am hoping I can sell some of this stuff on ebay, craigslist,  or at a yardsale and make enough money to upgrade the room.  Surely I can get some cash for my trash...

Take a look at what I need to purchase to complete this space, perhaps I should have stuck with my mini kitchen makeover.

Box Spring Mattress and rails (luckily I already have a queen mattress)
Headboard
4 curtain panels
Nightstand
Dresser
Lamps
Ceiling light fixture
Rug
Paint
Accessories

This could easily be a $1000 makeover, Lord Have Mercy!!!!! I sure hope I can sell a lot of stuff... Do you think I can transform this room for less?

  2. This is gorgeous! I need to use this because I have the hardest time 'seeing' what I want mentally. Interior design is not easy for me.

  5. Erin, thanks for stopping by. It will be nice to start with a blank canvas at least once I finish cleaning it out.
