Did you notice my new blog design?
Jessica from Wrangling Chaos is the blog genious behind the makeover
She was awesome to work with and I think she did a fantastic job making over my lil ole blog.
If you are in need of a blog makeover I highly recommend her.
I was on Pinterest one day looking for iphone covers and I stumbled upon this picture of the cutest iphone charger. I was ready to whip out my credit card and place an order for one, but low and behold the charger was simply the basic charger that every iphone user has covered in Washi tape. I had never heard of Washi tape before, but I knew that I had to find some to give my charger a makeover.
I went to Michaels searching for the tape and was happy to find a huge selection, not only did they have great choices, these were on sale for only $1.49
Check out the boring before......
The tape was so easy to use that I didn't want to stop at making over my charger
so I looked in every nook, drawer, and cabinet to see what else I could Washi
I found these plain Jane clips
that now look like this, so cute and fun......
Can you find them in my messy Kitchen Pantry?
By this time I had really gotten the hang of using Washi so this blue clipboard was next on the list
Isn't it much more fun covered with Washi
and it coordinates with my phone charger
Washi was very easy to use and I was able to be as creative as I wanted. If you want to try using Washi on a basic brown clipboard be mindful that the brown will show through if you choose tape that has clear areas. I think I have a solution to fix this, when I try it out I'll be sure to post it. I have a lot of the tape left over from these few projects, so lets see what I Washi next.......Have you used Washi tape before? Leave me a comment with a link to your project. I would love to check it out.....
and by the way while you are visiting I would love for you to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Just click on the links in my header.......
