Ive been doing really good with the daily chores this week, but for some reason I havent been able to get everything crossed off my list each night. For instance, I start the load of laundry put it in the dryer and it stays in the dryer until I need to put more clothes in. Am I the only one that does this. Anyway, I hope to get the rest of my list tackled tonight and have my house looking nice neat and clean. I am once again in a decorating mode, I think its because Target is having a GREAT sale as is Pier 1. Hubby got the toybox painted so I am in the process of deciding where to place it and looking for a nice cushion to go on top. Once its in place I'll take a picture just for you. Also, I want to paint the console table that I scored from the thrift store awhile ago, but cant decide whether to paint it white or black. What do you think?
The table will reside in the living room which is painted a tanish color. Those UGLY drapes are gone and will soon be replaced with some nice burlap ones like these. Here is a picture of the other furniture in the room. I am looking for new pillows and plan to paint the coffee table as well, but havent decided what color. Your help is much appreciated. Help me out white or black sofa table and white, black, or expresso coffee table

Well, you don't have to ask me twice to put in my two cents! ;) At first, I couldn't decide between black and white, but when I saw the rest of the furniture, it was immidiately clear--black. As a matter of fact, I think you should paint all your accent tables black. What a nice continuity that would be. Also, many home decor magazines will tell you that black is an anchor in the room. One design consultant even said, "Every room should have some black furniture in it as a base." Something to think about, I guess. Good luck!

I wasn't sure at first but when I saw the drapes you are going to do and the furniture then I would definitely go with black. The coffee table would look good as black too.

So funny! Must have read over the part where you called the fabric ugly ;) Seriously though, how come my thrift store doesn't have all these great buys?!? I've found a few things, but the pickings are so slim.
